I don’t know how I feel about the ending.

Rice surprised me once again. I started it a while back and realized I couldn’t quite handle it yet so I moved on to other things for a while then came back and was able to finish it. Char Facts are facts and truth is truth.

The book was so strange in it’s tone and so flippant about pedophilia. This is the third and last book in the Mayfair witches series.

The storytelling can be tedious, but as a personal thing, it is just enough that it keeps me interested and provides an amazing amount of detail and backstory to bolster the fascin I’m still not as charmed with this series as I am with The Vampire Chronicles, but it is certainly growing on me. I’ve found two others with Mayfair Witch characters but they are mixed up with the Vampires in those two books, and I’m not sure I really want to deal with either of them. Uninhibitedly joyful, rollicking, romping, manic and unrestrained, not bound by concerns of good taste, reviews or acceptable norms of style and approach. Though I did enjoy this book I had mxyfair hopes for the character of Mona Mayfair which we had been introduced to more intimately in the previous book, Lasher.


So, I am writing this review many, many years after the fact. If I could go back in time and not read this one, Dde would. She did end it well and mostly happy, but I feel like she could now write an entirely new series on what inevitably happens after the last sentence. Trivia About Taltos I Las bru Refresh and try again. And her stories are often those that span centuries. Also I though it was a little odd the way at the end of “Lasher” you had Mona and Yuri fall in love and then in “Taltos” they were both like “yeah, no”.

But it was erotic, insofar as anything and everything is.

The only good character was Mary Jane, had a weird fascination with the way she spoke. See all 3 questions about Taltos…. I think it’s really unnecessary to go into that much detail.

Lists with This Book. There’s just something about this story, from beginning to end 1st book to 3rd book that has gotten under my skin.

Well, Anne Rice is definitely committed to her vision.
