Hot Blooded (Jessica McClain, book 2) by Amanda Carlson
In each, Jes I really enjoyed the first book in this series and looked forward to this one. I know some are fond of the love interest in this one, but I’m not convinced I like the guy all that much yet, so we’ll see.
Aided by two vamps, two loyal Pack members and one very reluctant human, Jessica must rescue her man while coming to terms with what being a wolf really means. Depicted more as a battle of wills rather than physical and explosive type of spells, not that it was absent of the latter.
Hot Blooded definitely gave me that book buzz that this is a series just beginning and that there’s so much more in store for Jess. This was definitely better than the first and I can’t wait to read the next one! This UF series has some serious potential.

I would have loved to see more of Rourke. After reading the prequel, BloodedI fell in love with our tough as nails shifter; and reading Full Blooded left mi corazon palpitando at full speed, I wanted more.
With the evidence mounting against Sarika and the police on her trail, Lena needs to track down the missing painting if she is to clear her cousin. I liked this installment for the most part. But when Sarika goes missing too, accusations start to fly. Constant heart-racing read, keeping the heart pounding with fevered worry and anticipation as Jessica fights for her love, friends, and her life.
Hot Blooded was action full speed from the opening pages.
