Cesare Pavese was born in a small town in which his father, an official, owned property. Overall I enjoyed it but not quite much. El oficio de vivir by Cesare Pavese. I don’t know anything about his life story other than his suicide but it was obvious reading his diaries that he got disappointed, hurt and let down by women.
